Central Middle School Student Kristen Demale, left, gets a close up look at the abundance of curls on Joise Chriton’s head as Chriton gets ready to perform at the school on Wednesday. Chriton along with other members of the Irish Dance Association of Red Deer stopped at the school to help the students and staff members celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The troupe of local dancers spent the day traveling to 10 schools in Sylvan Lake, Poplar Ridge and Red Deer giving demonstrations of their skills and showing off their colourful costumes.
