Mahala’s family made the trip to the Westerner on Monday to attend the first seasonal influenza vaccine clinic offered by Alberta Health Services.
Mahala’s brother Gordon and their mother Dee Dee made the trip to be vaccinated as well.
Mahala even got to watch as and grandparents Barney and Setty Aihoshi received their vaccinations (inset photo).
Hundreds of people attended the clinic while many more are expected to attend today as well.
