Traffic was slow moving around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on QEII just north of Red Deer.
On Twitter, 511 Alberta confirmed a jackknifed semi has been blocking the left hand lane north of highway 11A.
Multiple emergency vehicles were visible on QEII at at least three different spots between Red Deer and Lacombe Tuesday evening.
The reports are yet to be confirmed by the RCMP.
