Kin Canada flag raising at Red Deer City Hall

Historic event for Kin Canada clubs

Communities across Canada raised Kin Canada flags on Thursday morning to recognize the 100th anniversary of the service organization.

Mayor Tara Veer and several council members joined local Kinsmen, Kinettes and K40 club members for the flag raising in council chambers.

Local members will continue the centennial celebration throughout the year, starting with the National Day of KINdness on Saturday.

Kinsmen have served Red Deer since 1937.
