Tickets for the estimated $640,000, 1,794-square-foot-home at 1 Lazaro Close in the Laredo subdivision will be sold from the dream home on weekends from 1 to 5 p.m.

Tickets are $100 each or three for $250. Only 14,000 tickets will be printed.

A 50/50 draw with a minimum payout of $30,000 and maximum of $75,000 will also be up for grabs.

The 50/50 tickets are one for $10, five for $25 and 15 for $50.

They can be purchased without purchasing a dream home ticket.

Other prizes include a 2014 Dodge Challenger, a trip for four to Puerto Vallarta, travel trailer, ATV and massage chairs.

Various locations throughout the city including Sproule’s Mountview IDA on 43rd Avenue will begin selling tickets in the coming weeks.

If you purchase your tickets on or before Oct. 26, you will be entered into the draw for two sets of tickets for the Red Deer Rebels home games and three cash prizes of $1,000.

Money raised from the lottery goes to local organizations such as the Red Deer Food Bank, the Youth and Volunteer Centre and the Central Alberta Emergency Women’s Shelter.
