Police are looking for a man who robbed The Hideout restaurant/bar in Gasoline Alley at knifepoint on Monday night.

Police are looking for a man who robbed The Hideout restaurant/bar in Gasoline Alley at knifepoint on Monday night.

RCMP said a lone male with a knife went into the bar about 11:30 p.m. and demanded cash from staff.

They turned over some money and when the robber left, he sprayed pepper or bear spray throughout and upstairs office, contaminating the area and affecting the employees.

The suspect is described as five-foot to five-foot-four (1.52 to 1.62 metres) with dark skin. He spoke with an accent. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a ball cap and face mask.
