Lacombe man wins $100,000 on Extra

The Mac’s store in Lacombe’s city centre has taken on a brand new meaning for a local resident.

The Mac’s store in Lacombe’s city centre has taken on a brand new meaning for a local resident. Robert Morin says he always adds the Extra when he purchases his lottery tickets. It paid off. When he checked his tickets at the store earlier this week, Morin discovered that he had won $100,000 on the Extra, which has a top prize of $250,000.

”I was really shocked and got all shaky when I saw the $100,000 come on the screen,” Morin told officials with the Western Canada Lottery Corp. He said he will use the money for a down payment on a house.
