Lacombe man's sex case goes ahead

A Lacombe man was ordered to stand trial on sex offences at a preliminary hearing in Red Deer provincial court on Friday.

A Lacombe man was ordered to stand trial on sex offences at a preliminary hearing in Red Deer provincial court on Friday.

Kyle James Bracken, 21, is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference with a person under the age of 16, inviting a person under the age of 16 to touch a person under age of 16 for a sexual purpose, voyeurism, and making pornography.

Bracken was also denied bail.

He returns to court on Aug. 9 for arraignment in Red Deer Court of Queen’s Bench.
