Lacombe outdoor rinks are closed for the season.
The City of Lacombe advises residents that due to the prevailing warm weather, Cranna Lake, Royal Oak and Iron Wolf storm water pond ice surfaces have been closed for recreational activities for the season. The outdoor rink is also closed.
‘Thin Ice’ signs have been posted at the storm water ponds, and at the Lacombe Off-Leash Dog Park. Pet owners are advised to keep their pets away from the pond surface, as the ice may become unstable at any time.
The city is asking all residents to watch and obey the posted signs.
