Leah’s Light 5K Walk/Run for Overdose Awareness, scheduled for Aug. 28, has been cancelled.
Organizers decided to cancel the event, that was to be held at Kiwanis Picnic Park, in order to keep people safe as the number of COVID-19 cases starts to accelerate.
Everyone who bought tickets for the event has been reimbursed through Eventbrite.
Organizers said they look forward to holding the next walk in August 2022.
