One of the most important observances of the Muslim faith, Ramadan starts on May 27, and the next Cultural Cafe will help people learn more about the month.
Ramadan is the commemoration of the first revelation of the Qur’an to Muhammad, according to Islamic belief.
The Cultural Cafe takes place on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Maple Room at the Immigrant Centre, 5000 Gaetz Ave.
Guest speakers include Binan Alsalti and Naziah Oun. An open discussion will follow the talk, along with snacks and tea.
