Lightning is being blamed for a Sylvan Lake house early Thursday evening.
Firefighters from Sylvan Lake and surrounding areas attended the scene around 4 p.m. in Kayton Estates, just east of Hwy 20.
The 14,000 square foot home was under construction and no one was in the house.
At the time of the fire, there was a thunderstorm rolling through Central Alberta.
