The fifth annual Lip Sync Battle is set to return to Red Deer next month.

The event is in support of the Outreach Centre and will take place on Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Bo’s Bar and Stage.

Since 2016, the annual event has raised $61,000, with 100 per cent of the funds going back to the Outreach Centre to help the community and those in need.

The competitors over the years have raised the bar, with the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Hugh Jackman belting out on stage, complimenting with some amazing dance, costumes, high flying acts including a wrecking ball.

Organizers Brandy Roberts and Bonnee Gregg are excited to have the event return and continue where it left off helping the community.

Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.ca or people can donate and help the Outreach Centre at theoutreachcentre.org/donate/.

The Outreach Centre is a non-profit agency that supports individuals and families in pursuit of healthy relationships, suicide prevention and mental health well-being, housing stability and self-sufficiency since 1984.

More specifically, it helps individuals and families gain access to resources, education, and programming to help with their pursuit and choice to be healthier or the opportunity to benefit to a higher quality of life.
