Live nativity pageant performances in Lacombe Dec. 20-22

There will be several chances to see a live nativity pageant just before Christmas in Lacombe.

Nightly nativity pageant performances will take place outdoors at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lacombe (4049 63rd Ave.) at 6:30, 7, 7:30 and 8 p.m. from Dec. 20 to 22.

The pageant, which is about 20 minutes, features a cast of shepherds, angels, kings and live animals, as well as Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.

There will also be an indoor creche display, with more than 150 nativity sets from around the world. Hot chocolate, cookies and squares will be served indoors as well.
