Magic of Bower Place after-hours holiday shopping event is on Sunday

Get a jump on holiday shopping with Christmas music, a live mannequin fashion show, and seasonal refreshments and treats at the Magic of Bower Place shopping event on Sunday, Nov. 19.

The mall will open up after-hours for VIP pass holders from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and regular ticket holders from 7 to 10 p.m.

All ticket proceeds will go to this year’s charity of choice: Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre, which provides services to children with special needs and their families.

All ages are welcome to attend this event for a $10 ticket. (Children under age nine do not require a ticket).

Attendees can enjoy live Christmas music, performed by players from the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, a live fashion mannequin display with Kiki Davies, a complimentary drink and dessert stations, exclusive deals and promotions from retailers, and the chance to win over $10,000 worth of prizes.

A $25 VIP pass will allow those — only age 18 or over — early-bird entry. All VIP pass holders will also get a free tote bag, a $10 Bower Place gift card, a drink ticket, and coat check, a voucher for a complimentary Santa photo, $10 off any service at Tommy Gun’s, and a chance to win door prizes. (I.D.s for VIP pass holders will be checked at the door/ only adults are eligible.)

Tickets are available from eventbrite.ca, the guest services desk at the mall (for cash only), or from Aspire. Entry to the mall for the evening event will be through the northwest entrance by Motion Fitness and the south entrance by the food court.
