Man, 66 struck and killed by vehicle in Regina intersection

REGINA — Police in Regina say a 66-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle Friday night in Regina.

Investigators say the man was crossing at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Robinson Street just after 9:30 p.m. when he was hit.

They say he was rushed to hospital where his death was confirmed.

The man’s name is not being released.

Police say the accident remains under investigation, but no further information was immediately released.
