The man accused of sexually assaulting several students at Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills early Sunday morning turned himself in to police on Monday afternoon.

Three Hills RCMP said the man fitting the description of the suspect turned himself into the detachment around 1 p.m.

On Sunday night, police distributed a video surveillance image of the suspect taken at the college.

Police said the man allegedly broke into student dormitories where he sexually assaulted students in their dorm rooms before exiting the building and leaving on a bicycle.

The incident occurred during freshman orientation weekend.
