Red Deer RCMP have arrested a man allegedly involved in a stabbing at a Walmart in the city last weekend.
Police were called to the south Red Deer Walmart, where an on-duty loss prevention officer approached a man believed to be shoplifting on May 22 at 4 p.m. The suspect proceeded to stab the officer three times and fled the store.
On Thursday, the suspect was located in Red Deer and arrested without incident.
Raine William Gray, 24, has been charged with aggravated assault and failure to comply with a release order. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
