A male suspect was arrested by police in Red Deer on Wednesday in connection with a shooting in Blackfalds last month.
Blackfalds RCMP have been investigating after a man was found with gunshot wounds on Aug. 30 in a rural location west of Blackfalds..
On Sept. 3, Blackfalds RCMP with assistance from the Stettler RCMP, arrested a female in relation to the shooting.
Shae-Lee Phillips, 22, of Stettler was charged with aggravated assault and discharging a firearm with intent. She was placed in custody and is set to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on Sept. 13.
Kenton Wood, 25, is in custody and will be appearing in Red Deer Provincial Court on Sept. 13.
