Man at Stettler restaurant tried to pay with fake $100 bill

A man tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for his order at a Stettler restaurant Monday.

The business did not accept the bill and the man left without further incident.

Stettler RCMP are reminding business owners to be aware of the possibility of people trying to make purchases with counterfeit currency, especially as the Christmas season approaches.
