A 60-year-old Red Deer man has been charged with inappropriately touching a young girl at the Red Deer Recreation Centre’s outdoor pool.
The incident is alleged to have happened on July 31 while the girl was playing at the pool.
Police say the man and young girl were not known to each other.
Allan William Halliday, who was remanded into custody, is charged with sexual interference.
He is scheduled to make an appearance in Red Deer provincial court today.
