A man charged with two armed robberies on Sunday returns to Red Deer provincial court next week.

Adrian Bradley, 43, of Red Deer, reserved his plea on robbing a Red Deer Husky gas station and attempting to rob a city 7-Eleven food store.

Court heard a suspect, armed with a knife, held up a clerk at the Husky gas station and made off with $300.

The suspect is alleged to have used a knife again in an attempt to rob the 7-Eleven later in the day but failed.

Bradley faces two counts of robbery and two charges of assaulting a peace officer at the Red Deer Remand Centre.

Bradley, who appeared on closed circuit television from the remand centre, returns to court on May 18 to enter a plea and possibly have a bail hearing.
