A Red Deer man was arrested on Saturday after he was found with a large amount of hunting equipment, including ammunition, and identification that had been stolen out of Camrose.
RCMP located a suspicious man in downtown Red Deer at about 4:20 p.m. with a large duffle bag he carried containing identification and other documents belonging to someone else, as well ammunition, binoculars, a camera, spotting scope and other hunting equipment.
The items had been in a truck that was reported stolen out of Camrose early that morning.
The 25-year-old man faces several Criminal Code charges now, including possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
