JASPER, Alta. — The body of a man who went missing in Jasper National Park in August has been found.

Zexin “Joe” Yue, who was 23, was last seen in the resort town on Aug. 19.

RCMP say there is no indication that his death was criminal.

When he was reported missing, RCMP said Yue may have gone hiking.

They said he was inexperienced and that his safety may be at risk.

Later in August, aerial and ground searches of the Bald Hills area were done by RCMP and Parks Canada after a hiker told officials he may have seen Yue on a trail.

Mounties declined to release further information.
