A man shot on the O’Chiese Reserve northwest of Rocky Mountain House is recovering in hospital.
RCMP said they were called to a home invasion about 4 a.m. on Tuesday. Three men went into a home armed with a firearm and stole numerous things before leaving.
Shortly after, police got a report that a man had been shot. He was airlifted in critical condition to hospital in Calgary. His condition has since been upgraded to stable with non-life-threatening injuries.
Rocky RCMP are investigating with assistance from Forensic Identification Services, Police Dog Service and the Emergency Response Team.
