A 36-year-old man is in stable condition after being stabbed multiple times, says Innisfail RCMP.
Police were dispatched to a rural property in Red Deer County where a man had been stabbed just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
The suspects are unknown at this time, but are believed to have been driving a delivery type vehicle. Evidence was recovered at the scene with the assistance of Police Dog Services and the Innisfail Integrated Traffic Unit.
Police believe this to be a targeted drug related incident and do not believe that the public is in danger.
The victim was transported via STARS to hospital with serious injuries and is currently in stable condition.
