Man wanted after Red Deer home invasion

RCMP also seeking to identify two other suspects

Red Deer RCMP are searching for a man wanted after a targeted home invasion in Morrisroe on Tuesday where a man was injured.

Jacob Conrad Courtemanche, 19, is a suspect in the incident that sent a 25-year-old man to hospital with a serious injury to his hand.

Shortly before 1 a.m. that day, RCMP responded to a report of a man who was injured during a home invasion at a residence on Metcalf Avenue. Three men entered the home carrying a sword and knife and demanded property from the occupants of the home.

A man was struck with the sword and sustained serious injury to his hand. EMS staff attended and took the victim to hospital for treatment.

RCMP believe the intruders had targeted the residence and continue their work to determine the identities of the other two suspects.

Jacob Courtemanche is described as Caucasian, 1.7 m (5’7”) tall, 59 kgs (130 lbs), brown hair and hazel eyes
