At 2:56 a.m., Red Deer City RCMP responded to the incident at a downtown convenience store.

A lone, unknown male entered the Short Stop Food Store at the Fas Gas located in the 5900 block of 54th Avenue and requested cigarettes, according to an RCMP news release.
