The Mayor’s Garden Party is moving indoors on Tuesday.

Due to the probability of rainy weather, the Mayor’s Garden Party will move from Red Deer City Hall Park to Westerner Park.

Mayor Ken Johnston will welcome guests from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Marquis Room of the Harvest Centre.

Seniors (65+) can ride Red Deer Transit all day for free. To get to the Westerner via public transit, go from Sorensen Station on the Routes 4 or 11 Southbound buses. For assistance with trip planning, call Customer Service at 403-342-8225 or visit https://mybus.reddeer.ca/home

Free parking is also available at Westerner Park.

“Even though we’ll be inside, we look forward to seeing you for an afternoon of entertainment, refreshments and friendship. There is no specific dress code; garden party attire is not required,” states a release from the City of Red Deer.
