Canada’s best-selling kid’s music group, Mini Pop Kids will be in Red Deer on Feb. 20.
In an announcement Wednesday, the group unveiled an 18-stop tour, which will land at the Memorial Centre in mid-February.
According to a release, after a temporary touring hiatus due to COVID restrictions, the group finally returned stateside this summer, where they sold out their fall dates in hours, at some of the biggest venues the group ever performed in.
The release says the show is an “experience for the whole family”.
“The jam-packed concert features the year’s biggest hits alongside everyone’s throwback favorites — including MINI POP KIDS’ beloved style of family-friendly covers of songs by Lizzo, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, BTS, Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo and more! A concert for kids, BY KIDS, with a hint of nostalgia and throwbacks that EVERYONE will enjoy.”
With two billion digital streams and 50 million views on YouTube, Mini Pop Kids’ chart-topping household name for family-friendly entertainment.
For the past 19 years the Mini Pop Kids have been Canada’s number-one children’s music group, with over a million albums sold, and topping the iTunes and Billboard charts. First launched in the 1980s, the original MINI POPS featured talented children singing pop hits of the day.
It went on to sell millions of albums worldwide. Now that the original MINI POP fans have grown up and have children of their own, K-Tel re-launched the MINI POP KIDS in 2004 in Canada.
