A dog that was in a vehicle when it was stolen on Wednesday afternoon is back home with its owner.
Red Deer RCMP said the Great Pyrenees dog is safe. While the car is still outstanding, RCMP were notified that the dog was located at Animal Services later in the day.
RCMP continue to investigate the vehicle theft and thank the public for their assistance in locating the missing dog.
The vehicle is a dark grey 2013 Toyoto Matrix with missing hubcaps on the front driver side and rear passenger side.
