Police are looking for a missing Wetaskiwin teenager who may be in the Maskwacis area.

Wetaskiwin RCMP Detachment is requesting the public’s help in finding Shaylynn Roasting, 14.

She was last seen on July 11th at 10:30 p.m. by her family. It is believed that Roasting snuck out of her residence late that evening or early in the morning on July 12.

Roasting is described as aboriginal, 1.65 metres (5-foot-5) weighing 59 kg (130 pounds) with

brown shoulder length hair (usually worn up), and brown eyes.

It is believed that Roasting might be in either Louis Bull or Samson First Nations area in Maskwacis but this is unconfirmed.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Wetaskiwin RCMP Detachment at 780-312-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
