SASKATOON — A senior who was last seen walking into a Saskatoon hospital on Saturday was found dead in the facility three days later.
Allan Landrie’s body was discovered on the main floor of the Royal University Hospital on Tuesday night.
Saskatoon police say officers, search and rescue staff and hospital security thoroughly looked for the missing 72-year-old man in the hospital and the surrounding area after he was reported missing.
Police say his death is not considered to be suspicious.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority expressed its condolences to Landrie’s family.
The authority says his body was found in a publicly accessible area of the hospital but declined further comment.
