Red Deer’s Izzy Cormier launched a Mission for Mittens this Christmas season.
The Red Deer College student collected tuques, mitts, socks, deodorant and other items for the Safe Harbour Society.
On Wednesday she showed the results of her charitable efforts, donating 29 boxes and three bags of items to the society. A day earlier, she also made donations to the Mustard Seed.
Cormier said she felt this Christmas season needed some more positivity and this was the way to do it by bringing our community together.
