Red Deer motorists are being notified of a month-long road closure on 55 Avenue, between 41 Street and 35 Street
The closure will begin at 7 a.m. as utility crews begin work in the area on Thursday. The road is expected to reopen at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 20.
Detours will be set up using 57 Avenue, 38 Street, 35 Street, and 54 Avenue.
Drivers and pedestrians are reminded to obey all traffic signs and to slow down in construction zones.
