An outage has left 3,346 customers without power in Sylvan Lake, according to Fortis Alberta.
The town, which has a population of 16,354, experienced the notable outage at 3:43 p.m. on Thursday. The estimated restoration time is 6:30 p.m.
The reason for the outage is unknown at this time. In a Twitter post, the Town of Sylvan Lake said it is receiving inquiries about outages from residents.
