Police are searching for a suspect after a Morrisroe convenience store was robbed early Monday morning.

Police are searching for a suspect after a Morrisroe convenience store was robbed early Monday morning.

RCMP said a lone male walked into the 7-Eleven at 3804 40th Ave. shortly after 5 a.m. and demanded cash. The store clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the man fled.

The RCMP dog team was called in but police were unable to locate the suspect, who had concealed his face with a neck warmer.

He is described as Caucasian, 1.85 to 1.90 metres tall (six-foot-one to six-foot-three). He was wearing black sweat pants, a black coat and black and white toque.
