MP Earl Dreeshen named deputy shadow minister for industry and economic development

A local MP has been named the deputy shadow minister for industry and economic development.

In his new role, Red Deer-Mountain View MP Earl Dreeshen will work alongside Michelle Rempel Garner, the Conservative’s shadow minister.

“The challenges and opportunities facing Canadian industries and the Canadian economy are different today than they have been at any point in our history,” Dreeshen said.

“It is important that we look at fostering an environment that allows for economic development instead of creating red tape and other disincentives to our domestic industries.”
