My platform points are:
• The need for a trauma/emergency medical facility
• Adding diversity to Red Deer’s economy by bringing in facilities and factories
• Therapeutic rehabilitation, education and reintegration programs instead of the current band-aid approach
• Accountability of councillors and accessibility for locals through a ward system.
These four points are the roots that we need to re-establish so that Red Deer can advance into a thriving city of safety and opportunity. As a local single mother who has gone from women’s shelter to business owner, I have experienced first hand the support of the great people of Red Deer. I am honest, hardworking, bold and know firsthand that success is achievable. I am realistic, goal oriented and passionate about the future of Red Deer. Red Deer deserves a council that is here for the people and businesses in this city.
