Naomi Delafield, the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra’s concert master, conducts the Rosedale Valley Strings at the Arts Centre Thursday night. Pianist Angela Cheng also performed in the fundraiser for the Alberta Music Education Foundation. Cheng also gave a master class as part of Music Conference Alberta, a collaboration of the foundation, Alberta Choral Federation, Alberta Band Association, Alberta Kodaly Association and Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers. The three-day conference hosted conductors, choristers, music teachers and other music enthusiasts and featured topics related to music and music education.
