Jean Nichols transplants bergamot, a plant commonly known as bee balm, in the Kerry Wood Nature Centre’s wildflower garden last week. She and other volunteers routinely tend the garden and the week’s rainfall made the job of digging up and re-rooting plants in sodden soil all the easier.
