New Green Deer Campaign kicks off

The ninth annual litter pickup campaign kicked off with a barbecue, distribution of cleaning materials and assignment of areas to clean.

Registration for the Apr. 16th to June 17th campaign is still underway online at www.reddeer.ca/greendeer while the Red Deer River Clean Up goes June 3rd and the Great Canadian Shoreline Clean Up Sept. 9th.

The O’Connors said Clearview Meadows’ clean up will occur May 27th from 2-4 p.m. with the community league’s annual general meeting and a dinner to follow.
