There’s no admission charge to the event at Gaetz Memorial United Church

Downtown Red Deer will resonate with sounds of the Christmas season on Monday, when the free Nine Lessons and Carols concert is performed at Gaetz Memorial United Church.

Presented as a partnership between Downtown Sounds @ Gaetz and the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, the concert promises to be a unique blend of story, song and local talent.

Billed as a “world-wide yuletide tradition that the whole family will enjoy,” the music will begin at

7 p.m. and continue to 11 p.m.

There’s free admission, courtesy of Servus Credit Union, so anyone can come and hear “what the Christmas season is all about.”
