No businesses affected by fire on roof of Red Deer building

A fire on Saturday evening at 4313 55 Ave. in Red Deer did not affect any of the businesses located in the building.

An employee at one of the businesses in the Westview Business Centre said Monday that there was a fire in a heating unit on the roof of the building but it was business as usual on Monday.

MP Earl Dreeshen’s office, Employment Placement and Support Services, and a number of other businesses are located in the centre.

The fire occurred at about 11:30 p.m.
