With Christmas and New Year’s Day falling on a Sunday, residents can expect no change for garbage and recycling collection.
The holidays will not interfere with when residents put out their garbage and recycling.
However, the residential recycling program is unable to process wrapping paper or styrofoam. And people are asked to not put these items into their blue boxes.
The City would like to remind residents to set out all materials for collection before 7 a.m. on the regular collection days. There is a three unit limit for weekly garbage collection.
