Red Deer’s Notre Dame High School is raffling off its 40-foot tiny home sea can container.

The home was built by 200 students over five semesters, along with 30 industry professionals.

“On-the-job training is the most valuable and authentic experience we can facilitate for our students,” said teacher Janna Vandermeer.

Tickets are available until September 23 and funds raised from the auction will go to future school projects. Tickets are $20 each or three for $50.

Tickets are on sale here.

The winner will be responsible for all foundational, utility hookups, permits/legal documentation and the transportation of the tiny home to the desired location before May 31, 2021.

The tiny home was built over three years and had a $30,000 budget.
