As a rain shower soaks the road behind him, Jesse Parsons, 16, makes the long walk to the first tee at the Balmoral Golf Club on Tuesday. Parsons often makes the 20 minute walk along Hwy 11 east of the city from his home in Rosedale to play at the nearby golf course where he is a member.
