A 53-year-old man from the rural Olds area is dead following a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck at the intersection of Hwy 27 and Range Road 10A, east of Hwy 2 on Tuesday evening.
Olds RCMP say around 6:45 p.m. an eastbound pickup truck was attempting to make a north turn onto Range Road 10A when the head-on collision occurred with a westbound motorcycle.
The female driver of the pickup was transported to the Olds hospital with minor injuries. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is not being released until the next of kin is notified.
