Four people were arrested for possession of marijuana and cocaine on Wednesday after a search warrant was executed on an Olds apartment. A 39-year-old man has also been charged with failing to comply with a probation order and has been released to appear in court Aug. 12.

As the investigation continued, the Olds RCMP detachment members obtained a second search warrant.

In the second incident on Thursday, six people were arrested and charged with various drug related offences after a search warrant was executed at a duplex in Olds. An undisclosed amount of marijuana and cocaine was located at that 52nd Street address. A 32-year-old male and a 30-year-old female were both charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking as well as one charge of possession of cocaine. Both have been released to appear in Didsbury Provincial Court on September 23.

One male resident who was not located at the time of the search warrant is being sought in relation to this investigation. Charges relating to possession for the purpose of trafficking are being pursued.
