A woman was arrested and a warrant has been issued for a Red Deer man allegedly involved in a shooting.

This past Friday, a 47-year-old man from Olds, suffering from a firearm-related injury, was airlifted to hospital.

Police say one female and two males visited the property in a gold-coloured SUV to “settle a dispute over money and belongings.”

When the discussion became heated, one of the males shot the victim with a handgun.

On Monday, Jessica Nicole McClintock, 33, with a last known address in Calgary, was located and arrested north of Trochu.

The SUV was later located and seized from an area northeast of Wimborne.

A judicial hearing was conducted for McClintock and she was released on a $3,000 no-deposit bail to attend Didsbury provincial court on June 24.

Charges have been laid and an arrest warrant has been issued for Lyle Robert Walter Vance, 27, of Red Deer.

He is facing a number of charges, including unlawfully wounding, maiming, disfiguring or endangering a life, prohibited possession of a firearm and two counts of pointing a firearm.

Police advise the public not to approach Vance, as he may be armed and dangerous.

The second male suspect involved in this incident has not yet been located or identified.
